Behind the Recipe

Thank Goodness for Bratty Little Sisters

My family used to take a ferry to the outer banks of North Carolina. We’d always stop at this quaint little sidewalk café, where my little sister would order their ahi burger. I remember thinking it a strange choice for such a picky eater, but she always devoured the whole thing. It wasn’t until years later, when I tried to replicate that recipe, that I understood why.

Don’t get me wrong. We love our hamburgers, but this recipe doesn’t come with the same guilt. Say hello to a much lighter (and healthier) alternative.
