  • 1 large head cauliflower
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Sesame seeds
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped


  1. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut off the bottom stem. Carefully slice the cauliflower into 1/2-inch-thick steaks.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the avocado oil, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, freshly grated ginger, and sesame oil. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the mixture.
  3. Prepare the tahini sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the tahini, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, freshly grated ginger, sesame oil, lime juice, and water until smooth.

Cooking Instructions

    To get started, preheat your griddle to medium-high heat while you prepare your cauliflower steaks. The flat top cooking surface of a Daytona Griddle maximizes the flavorful char and caramelization that makes cauliflower steaks so delicious

    Place the cauliflower steaks on the cooking surface and griddle for 5-6 minutes on each side, until they’re caramelized and tender.

    Serve the grilled cauliflower steaks with the tahini sauce drizzled on top and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped parsley or cilantro if desired.
