For this recipe, you’ll grill the chicken over direct heat while using the griddle plate to stir-fry the rice – creating a crispy, caramelized finish that locks in flavor with every bite.
Place the marinated chicken on the high-heat, standard grilling side of your dual-zone setup. Grill for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
While the chicken cooks, drizzle sesame oil onto the medium-heat zone. Scramble the eggs, then mix in cooked rice and vegetables. Add soy sauce and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, letting the flavors combine.
Thinly slice the grilled teriyaki chicken and combine with fried rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds to taste. Enjoy!
