BEHIND THE RECIPE

HIGH HEAT. FULL CONTROL.

Buffalo wings don’t need much to be great, but getting that perfect balance of crispy skin and juicy meat comes down to heat.

The Gourmet Pro 4-Burner Gas Grill with Side Burner features our Nexgrill Even-Heat System, which maintains a consistent temperature across the grates. That means no flare-ups, no guesswork, just crispy wings. And with the side burner, your signature sauce is ready whenever the meat is.

Make quick gas grill meals your reality for mouthwatering results, proving you did it right with every bite.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. cooking oil (vegetable, canola, avocado, or similar)
  • 4 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 cup hot sauce

Preparation

  1. Preheat your grill to 425°F.
  2. Combine the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, brown sugar, butter, and hot sauce in a small saucepan over medium-low heat on the Nexgrill side burner. Don’t allow the mixture to boil: wait until the butter fully melts, then whisk together and set aside.

The secret to getting crispy wings on a gas grill? Controlled heat and a grill that delivers it every time. Find yours at Home Depot.

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the chicken wings dry using a paper towel, coat them with cooking oil, and season thoroughly with 1 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

Place your wings on the grill grates, flipping every 3-5 minutes to avoid burnt skin while achieving the perfect crisp.

  3. 3

Cook for 15-20 minutes total, closing the lid in between flips. Once your wings reach an internal temperature of 160°F, remove them from the grill.

  4. 4

Transfer your wings to a mixing bowl, then pour over half the sauce to toss and coat.

  5. 5

Put your wings back on the grill until they reach an internal temperature of 170-175°F for pull-off-the-bone tenderness.

  6. 6

Either toss your wings with the remaining sauce or serve it on the side.

  7. 7
