- 1 recipe of mac and cheese (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- Cooking spray
- Cook your macaroni according to the package instructions.
- Spread the mac and cheese in a 9x9 inch baking dish and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, but preferably overnight.
- Once set, cut the cold mac and cheese into bite-sized squares.
- Dip each square into a bowl of the beaten eggs, then into another bowl containing the panko breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the square to coat it generously and evenly.
Preheat your Neevo Smart Grill on its Air Fry setting to 400°F (200°C).
Lightly coat a grilling or air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Place the breaded mac and cheese bites in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and crispy.
