Smoky, fruity, and robust, this cocktail will truly accentuate the flavors of your grilled dishes. Bring out your pellet grill or smoker and ready yourself for a treat, as we present you the Smoked Peach Smash Cocktail!

Pendleton Whisky meets smoke-infused peaches in this concoction, giving the classic cocktail a hearty upgrade. The subtle smoky flavor complements the richness of the whisky and the sweetness of the peaches, making for a well-rounded, layered experience in every sip.

  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 oz Pendleton Whisky
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp honey or simple syrup
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Crushed ice

Preparation


  1. Preheat your Oakford Pellet Grill to 225°F. We prefer apple pellets.

Cooking Instructions

    Place the halved peaches into your Oakford, cut side up.

    Smoke the peaches for about 2 hours or until they're soft and offer a robust, smoky aroma.

    Remove the peaches from your Oakford and let them cool.

  4. 4

    In a cocktail shaker, muddle together two smoked peach halves, lemon juice, honey (or simple syrup), and a few fresh mint leaves.

    Add Pendleton Whisky to the shaker and fill with crushed ice.

    Shake vigorously until well combined and chilled.

    Strain the cocktail into two glasses, making sure to press on the muddles peaches to extract all the refreshing juices.

    Garnish each glass with a slice of the remaining smoked peach and a sprig of fresh mint.

    Serve immediately and enjoy the 'ahhh'.
